StreamHound ("we", "us", or "our") operates the streamhound.app website (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We collect the following data exclusively through Twitch OAuth integration:

  • Twitch User ID and Display Name: To identify your account and provide analytics.
  • Email Address: To send you system notifications, service updates, and analytics reports. We receive this directly from Twitch API upon your authorization.
  • Stream Data: Publicly available data about your streams (views, duration, game played) fetched via Twitch API.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service (generating analytics reports).
  • To notify you about changes to our Service.
  • To send you emails via Amazon SES (Simple Email Service).
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers (Hetzner Online GmbH and AWS).
  • We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
  • We do not store user passwords, as authentication is handled entirely by Twitch.

4. Email Communications

We use Amazon SES to send emails. By creating an account, you agree to receive newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information using the email address associated with your Twitch account. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like localStorage) to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

  • Technical Cookies: Necessary for the website to function (e.g., saving your choice in the consent banner).
  • LocalStorage: Used to save your UI preferences (e.g., your selected theme).

6. Analytics Services (Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica)

We use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

  • Withdraw consent at any time (by disconnecting StreamHound in your Twitch connections settings).
